From the distinctive vertical white cliffs capped with green vegetation, the tones of the glistening blue ocean through to the alluring beaches and coves of the island, our store concept is inspired by the stunning beauty of the Zakynthos coast line.
‘Coastal Beauty’ is the master concept for our store informing all categories and areas drawing inspiration from the coast and the crystal clear turquoise water of the ocean.
Our design is led by the dynamic ceiling rafts to denote the categories. A high level ribbon inspired by the green topped white cliffs of the islands coast line runs through the store connecting the categories and leading passengers through the space.
The iconic olive tree synonymous with Greece provides the inspiration for our Hellenic Gourmet and Local Beauty area. Replica large-scale olive trees create theatrical features within the store, whilst the olive leaf inspired ceiling creates a contemporary statement over the space. Natural timbers are used extensively to create warmth and character.
A threshold of blue tiles pixelate into the airport concourse floor finish, creating a bold statement at the entrance to the store.
Inspired by the rippling blue tones of the ocean a series of shallow stepped painted plasterboard blue ceiling planes create focus of the category worlds.
