An authentic local flavour
Demonstrating the holistic potential of our design work, we developed a new brand identity, complete packaging solution and store environment for the Nuance ‘Tastefully Canadian’ brand at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The concept’s central location in the main Duty Free store makes it the characterful heart of the space, radiating a distinctly Canadian personality with a unique sense of place. The result is a cohesive customer shopping experience where, from the sign over the door through to the store furniture and down to the packaging on the shelf, the customer enjoys an engaging and comprehensive immersion in the brand.
Tastefully Canadian provides a ‘local’ heart to this destination area. The ice wine category features attractive ice wine bottle designs and crystal light fixtures that drawing customers in. The tasting bar includes interactive and informative digital tablets.
The store presents a dynamic range of local products, from artisan foods to artwork to ice wines, embedding an unmistakably Canadian flavour in the customer experience.
The retail design carefully complements Nuance’s signature Duty Free Store concept, including the ‘Boutique’ offer. Local accents are blended in the design and product ranges. The new Tastefully Canadian brand is set to be rolled out in additional locations across Canada.
