When designing environments and any space that we’re involved in, an important stage within that process is conceiving a unique design which, on many occasions, starts with a Sense of Place document. This document defines the overall character of the country, region or city. It encompasses every aspect;, the history, character, craft and architecture as well as the topography and every other aspect of the distinct opportunity. It captures emotive bonds that people develop, or experiences, by highlighting the unique character or distinctiveness of a place.
